Whether you are a student, working professional, homemaker, caregiver, fitness trainer, or anywhere else in between, you are familiar with tests. It could be a school exam to test knowledge, a workplace test to measure efficiency, or an exercise test to analyze strength. Tests are a standard way of assessing one’s capabilities and understanding in objective and tangible ways. For many, tests produce stress and anxiety; a fear of failure and defeat.
God has no fear of any kind of test, and in fact, He invites His children to test Him. He doesn’t hide when we ask Him difficult questions or confess our doubts. He doesn’t try to keep us distracted with empty promises and flattery in hopes that we will eventually find out that He can’t deliver. He invites us to take that step of faith and give Him control. Only then can His work of transformation truly begin. And God will NEVER disappoint!
God, Your word says that Your promises are true and that I can put my trust in You. Thank you that I can experience the fulfillment of Your promises in the here and now in tangible ways. I continue to put my trust in You because I desire to experience You more each day.
Jeremiah 32:27 – “I am the LORD, the God of all humankind. There is, indeed, nothing too difficult for me.”
